Excellent Behavioral Health client in Worchester, Massachusetts seeks a seasoned Nurse Practitioner. Must have 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in a Behavioral/Psych setting
The Nurse Practitioner coordinates decision making in the assessment, diagnosis, and medication management of psychiatric patients. The NP works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans ensuring safe, therapeutic and competent patient care. A strong work ethic and desire to participate in and grow a team oriented organization. The team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists and educators. Be able to establish empathy and a person-centered approach to patients. Have the ability to recognize own limitations and respond to difficult situations. Skillfully work in a self-motivated and independent manner. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.
Monday through Friday with some call expectation
